2026 Native Heritage Month Celebration

The Dickinson Music Enrichment Center presents a free community celebration of Native heritage through music, dance, storytelling, youth creativity, food, and fellowship.

Event Details

Sunday, November 15, 2026. The public festival runs from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 4613 State Hwy 3, Dickinson, TX 77539.

Family Activities

The festival includes a Youth Makers Market for young creators ages 6 and older, arts and crafts, chalk art, family yard games, and additional sponsored activities.

Community Meals

Community meal service begins at 4:00 PM and features Holy Trinity Episcopal Church's Thanksgiving dinner alongside traditional Native frybread and agua fresca, while supplies last.

Volunteer

Community volunteers are invited to assist TDMEC with festival setup, guest support, family activities, the Youth Makers Market, meal service, fundraising activities, performer support, cleanup, and other festival needs.

Corporate Sponsorship

Businesses, corporations, and community partners are invited to sponsor the 2026 Native Heritage Month Celebration. Sponsorship helps TDMEC provide cultural performances, youth activities, community meals, and family programming as part of this free community event.

Youth Makers Market

Young creators ages 6 and older can participate in the Youth Makers Market and gain hands-on business experience by selling handmade items individually or as a group.
